1) The Vision

A free design consultation is offered either in person or over the phone. Here we discuss your vision and goals, and will take any pictures, Houzz, Pinterest or magazine ideas you have to share. If you’re in the area, we will take measurements or be happy to review plans with your local contractor or designer. Think of our website as a virtual showroom where you may view design ideas in the comfort of your own home. When possible “before” pictures are taken at this time.

2) Preliminary Design & Budget Consult

We provide you with our initial design idea and rough estimate. Here we may review storage solutions, suggest custom options or finishing details. For more in depth and detailed drawings, we ask you to provide a retainer, so that we may take the necessary time to offer you a complete set of detailed plans and pictures. Should you decide to use our services, this retainer will be applied to your first initial deposit.

3) Final 3D Design Render & Proposal Review

Whether we’re designing you a brand new kitchen or custom piece of furniture, no matter how big or small; what sets us apart from others, is the personal one-on-one attention to detail we give throughout your project, making sure we bring your vision to life. Upon agreement of our final design and proposal, your project will be managed throughout to make sure quality and service are prevalent from start of fabrication to finish.

4) Final Order, Scheduling & Fabrication

Upon a signed contract and deposit received, we will review each custom piece made to order, the finish and quantities, and cross reference it with your final 3D design plan. Here we will discuss scheduling and begin fabrication once all the criteria above is met.

5) Inspection & Delivery

Your finished product goes through final inspection and signed off with you or your contractor’s approval. At this time a final balance is due at delivery and “after” pictures are taken after completion of the install.

Typically, River Woodcraft handles the installation for smaller projects, however, we do outsource projects that require larger renovations, electric, plumbing, flooring and/or tile work with a reputable and trustworthy team of experienced contractors, if needed.
